I FELT THAT RAINBOW VALLEY WAS VERY DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHER
ANNE BOOKS AS IT FOCUSED MORE ON THE CHILDREN AND NOT ON ANNE BUT I ENJOYED IT AND FOUND IT EXTREMELY BEWITCHING [/i] |

Hi Theresita, welcome to the forum
It's kinda slow here right now, but hopefully more posters will post here again.
I agree, it was very different from the rest of the books in the series, but it was a good choice by Lucy to focus on the children. I like how they all have their own, unique personalities. |

I LOVE ALL THE CHILDREN ESP. UNA. I DIDN'T LIKE MARY VANCE AT THE BEGINNING BUT I REALISED THAT SHE HAD GONE THROUGH A LOT OF PROBLEMS AND HADN'T BEEN PROPERLY BROUGHT UP, BUT THEN AGAIN THAT IS NO EXCUSE FOR HER TO ACT SO BOSSY !! |

I know, I didn't really like Mary Vance at all, and only a little better at the end of the book. My favourite was Walter Una was really sweet too. |
