Anne Shirley - Gabrielle Anwar or Romola Garai (although I guess she would've been a bit too old for it) but they'd have to wear wigs or dye their hair red/ginger/auburn then.
Diana Barry - Winona Ryder, I think.
Jonathan Crombie - Ioan Gruffudd (although, obviously he's too old too.. but still).
But I like Megan Follows & Jonathan Crombie the most. |

I adore Ioan Gruffudd and the Hornblower series Are you a fan?
I saw Gabrielle Anwar in The Tudors, and like you said, she is older. The same with Romola
Has anybody seen anybody outstanding in the youtube screentest for the new prequel? |

Yep, I'm a fan of Ioan. Except I haven't seen the Hornblower series. I've only seen King Arthur and the Fantastic Four movies. I think he was very hot as Lancelot, lol.
Yeah, Gabrielle also played Sonora Webster in Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken, a film I really loved.
Oooh there's a youtube screentest for the prequel? How comes I didn't know about this? lol. I have to go and check out! |

This is so cool! I've never spoke to a Ioan fan outside of his fansites. You HAVE to see the Hornblower series. He's not only a modest hero, but a gentleman at that too! They're adventure films too.
The screentest can be found at http://www.youtube.com/group/screentest |
