I like this movie best because I like the way Anne dresses in it. I would sure like to get a hold of some of the dresses. |

What I really noticed was the HAIR. WHOA!
I think there was a comment about her hair too. Apparently, it got bigger in every scene because they started to get carried away with it! |

I like her hair pretty well except for in one scene. The one where she went to visit Gilbert when he was sick. |

Yeah, I'm sure Rachel Lynde would have made a huge fuss if she saw her like that!! |

I found this trivia from IMDb.com:
| Quote: |
Kevin Sullivan says that Anne's hairtyles kept getting bigger and more eccentric as filming went on. One of Anne's hairstyles he found to be particularly extravagant was when Anne and Gilbert walk along the lane discussing "Averil's Atonement". The hairstyle Anne sports towards the end of the movie when she goes to visit Gilbert when he's sick was the least favorite of Sullivan's.

Yeah, he didn't like that part too. |

I'm glad the majority agrees concerning Anne's hair at the bedside of Gilbert. Just a little out of hand there! Where is the comb? |

lol, I liked the way they dressed and the way they had their hair up back in those old times. But yeah.. I guess I have to agree on this one. Her hair really did seem like it got bigger and bigger. This kind of reminded me of the French kings and the baroque times where they had these HUGE wigs.
Not just because of the dresses.. but also the fact that Anne got a bit closer to Gil in the sequel. The love-story blossomed more and I was excited about watching it, hehe. |

Hehe, yeah, the Baroque wigs were HUGE! Especially for the women too, it's a wonder they didn't topple over all the time
I do wonder if that was all her hair? |

Same here. I think I read somewhere that it wasn't all hers since she wore wigs and dyed her hair a bit more reddish/auburn or something. Then again, I could be wrong. |

Yeah, it didn't seem to be all real. I remember going to a museum and they had this artwork from the Victorian era made of hair. It was....fascinating |
