Who could play Rilla? Who do you think could play Rilla if there was a movie on the book?

On the subject of Keira Knightley in that other thread about Pride and Prejudice, I think she could pull it off. She does a lot of period films, so I don't think she would be too out of place. What do you think?

The other day I was going through people I know and seeing who could play what in this book. Have you ever done that?

Sometimes I'll read and think, "Hey! I know someone like that character!" I'd keep reading and get their image in my head whenever that character appears.
For me, it just comes naturally. I don't think about it but the thought comes to me.

Yep! I was in high school before they made the Harry Potter movies and I had mentally cast Harry, Ron, Hermione and Malfoy with people I knew. Not really thought about the cast for Rilla and the others, though I'd love to adapt the book for a screenplay.

I'm sad to say I never mentally casted Harry Potter characters in my head, and now that they've had 5 films, I can't view the characters other than the actors portraying them now :P
Who do you see as Rilla? I can't think of anyone who could play Walter, actor I mean.

Hmm...I actually had a friend who looks just like I imagined Rilla would look like, at least from what it said in the book. :D I can't think of anyone who could play Walter though
